Head of the Civil Aviation Division

(1) Placed under the authority of a Division Head, the Civil Aviation Division, in collaboration with the administrations and bodies concerned, is responsible for:

– formulating and monitoring the implementation of Government policy on   civil aviation;

– formulating laws and regulations relating to civil aviation;

– monitoring the activities of national and international civil aviation bodies;

– negotiating Agreements and Conventions pertaining to civil aviation;

– conducting investigations on aviation accidents and incidents

– examining disputes between operators and the Aviation Authority.

(2) It comprises:

The Standards Unit;

The Operation Monitoring Unit
