History
Early 1990s
Cameroon expresses the desire to withdraw from airport management and the will to implement an autonomous management structure for Cameroon’s main airports.
06 October 1992
The Cameroonian Authority and the Société Aéroports de Paris (ADP) agree to create a company that will manage the airports called « Aéroports du Cameroun » in short ADC.
13 December 1993
ADC S.A. was created.
12 August 1994 in Yaoundé
A concession agreement was signed between Cameroon and the company ADC S.A.

Effective start of ADC S.A.’s activities
Vision
Aéroports du Cameroun S.A. aims to include Douala and Yaoundé-Nsimalen International Airports among the reference airports in sub-Saharan Africa.
This vision is divided into several areas of focus:
Modernization of infrastructure and equipment;
Improvement of economic and financial performances;
Development of air traffic and non aeronautical activities;
Implementation of a sustainable development policy;
Raising service quality to international standards.
Missions
Aéroports du Cameroun S.A. (ADC S.A.) is responsible for the:
Management,
Operation,
Maintenance,
Renovation,
Rehabilitation and Development of the seven airports of the concession,
and also aircraft ground handling.
